I started Evidence Pack in late 2024 after seeing the same failure pattern over and over: good security teams were doing real work, but their documentation could not hold up under legal pressure.
We had guard logs spread across paper binders, text threads, and disconnected apps. When clients or attorneys asked for a complete timeline, teams spent days pulling records together. That gap was the problem I wanted to solve.
Why We Started
The original mission was simple: turn day-to-day security operations into court-ready evidence without adding more admin burden on guards or supervisors.
From day one, I focused on three principles:
Late 2024: Proving the Core Workflow
The earliest version of Evidence Pack was intentionally narrow. We focused on:
- Mobile incident reporting
- GPS-verified check-ins
- Structured fields that removed common report gaps
At this stage, success was not about polished UI. It was about proving we could produce cleaner, more defensible records than the old paper process.
2025: From Point Solution to Operations Platform
As teams adopted the product, the real need became obvious: incident reporting cannot live in isolation. It has to connect with scheduling, patrol verification, site management, and supervisor visibility.
So we expanded Evidence Pack into a full operating layer:
- Scheduling tied to real attendance and coverage data
- Patrol and checkpoint tracking with verifiable scan history
- Better supervisor oversight across sites, shifts, and incidents
- Faster evidence packaging for legal, insurance, and client reporting
This was the shift from a "reporting tool" to a true system of record.
What We Learned Building With Security Teams
Building in this industry taught us that software only works when it respects the reality of the field.
- Guards need speed and clarity, especially under stress.
- Supervisors need signal, not noise.
- Owners need auditability and legal defensibility.
- Clients need transparency they can trust.
Every major product decision we made came from these constraints, not from feature checklists.
Where We Are Now
Today, Evidence Pack is built to help security companies run cleaner operations and defend themselves with stronger documentation. We now support the full chain from activity in the field to evidence in a legal or compliance context.
Most importantly, we are still building with the same operating philosophy we started with in late 2024: practical tools, verified data, and workflows that hold up when scrutiny is highest.
What Comes Next
Our next phase is focused on deeper intelligence, stronger automation, and tighter legal-readiness across every workflow. The goal is unchanged: help security teams do better work, prove that work happened, and protect the business behind it.
To everyone who has trusted us this far, thank you. We're just getting started.
